To coincide with the refresh of the Welcome to Fife website a supporting events App was launched. Linking content from the main site with the App the users have a connected experience to search and be notified of events that they wish to attend in the regions of Fife.
The app uses an API to digest its content and also offers the API out to other sources, additionally, a localised caching infrastructure means that the app operates offline, regardless of connectivity.
